Hotel Sahara Star Mumbai, Mumbai

The hotel is located conveniently close to the airport, making it ideal for low-cost airline connections or luxurious transfers at an extra cost. The rooms are well taken care of, with excellent service and a good breakfast. However, the location may not hold much significance for local residents, and some room service deliveries can be improved.

The hotel rooms were very well furnished, comfortable, and beautiful, with everything working perfectly despite the constant chill even with the AC off. The location was superb, conveniently across from the domestic terminal and just a short drive to the international terminal. The service provided by Kailash, Abhishek, and Mr Aasim in the restaurant was top-notch, making my stay enjoyable. The dining options were great with fresh choices available, and the Mediterranean food was superb.

I had an excellent stay overall. The rooms were neat and clean, and the view overlooking the atrium was just perfect. Opting for an inside view room that overlooks the lagoon is a must, providing a much better experience than a city view.

Despite some room noise issues, my stay transitioned from an average start to a wonderful suite experience at this hotel. The service was a mix of inexperienced individuals and standout performers, especially the main Chef ANUPAM, who truly elevated our dining experience. The location is superb, especially for late arrivals, and offers convenience with easy access to key transportation links. The dining experience was superb with a wide variety of delicious offerings, although kitchen exhaust issues were noticeable.

The hotel room was beautiful with a great private balcony that looks into the gardens/lagoon area, providing a wonderful view and a perfect spot for morning coffee. However, there was a stinky bad smell and some little insects noted in the room and toilet. The walk to and from the elevator was a bit long but the rooms were spacious and good overall.
